The New Zealand Rainbow Excellence Awards celebrates workplace leadership, innovation, best practice and collaboration with organisations committed to rainbow diversity and inclusion. We are the only rainbow focussed awards programme of our kind in Aotearoa.

The awards are a collaboration between: The Rainbow Tick, the organisation that developed and leads the Rainbow Tick Certification system, synonymous with improved inclusivity and safety in New Zealand workplaces, and South Pacific Pride Ltd., the organisation behind Winter Pride and the Pride Pledge. SPP is lead by Martin King, a recognised leader in diversity and inclusion in Aotearoa. South Pacific Pride Limited is a social enterprise, for purpose, not profit organisation.

The Excellence Awards are excited to now be moving into 2022, which will mark the 4th year of the Awards Programme. Over the 2019, 2020, and our virtual 2021 Awards, we have been able to bring together hundreds of organisations and individuals from across New Zealand, not only to celebrate, but also to amplify this important work, and to accelerate progress.
