Our Diversity and Inclusion workshops are available to schools, workplaces, businesses and anyone interested in creating an inclusive Canterbury.”
The principal objective of the Trust is to actively fundraise and attract sponsorships, donations and bequests in order to maintain a fund available to build strength through diversity within the LGBTQI+ community in New Zealand. We will work tirelessly to ensure Ending HIV is effective, inclusive and responds to the communities’ changing needs. By staying safe, testing often and treating early we can stop HIV in its tracks.”
Rainbow Youth provides support, information, resources & advocacy for Aotearoa’s queer, gender diverse, takatāpui and intersex youth. RY provides strengths-based peer support that considers hauora, resilience, cultural identities, and individual journeys. Their support workers can provide face to face support in Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Northland, Taranaki and Dunedin, and online everywhere else in Aotearoa.
OutLine is an all-ages rainbow mental health organisation providing support to the rainbow community, their friends, whānau, and those questioning. We provide a nationwide, free and confidential 0800 support line for people who want to speak to a trained volunteer from the rainbow community. We also provide specialist rainbow counselling and an Auckland based trans and non-binary peer support service.
Aadihkaar fights for an Aotearoa where LGBTQIA+ people of colour, particularly South Asians, can be themselves, free of fear and stigma, and explore their potential while challenging discrimination against them. Aotearoa is a part of a process of redefining what it means to be LGBTQIA+ persons in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Gender Minorities Aotearoa is a nationwide transgender organisation. It is run by and for transgender people; including binary and non-binary, intersex, and irawhiti takatāpui. They support transgender people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds, and provide one-to-one peer support and information nationwide.
Naming New Zealand is an initiative to help queer, gender diverse, takatāpui and intersex young people with updating their identity documents to correctly reflect their identities. They provide resources about the process of correcting identity documents within New Zealand, connect young people with organisations that can help, and assist with the costs of making these important changes.

ITANZ is a New Zealand registered charitable trust and provides information, education and training for organisations and professionals who provide services to intersex people and their families. One of ITANZ’s projects is The Interface Project, which allows intersex people from all over the world to tell their own stories.
Rainbow Path supports Rainbow asylum seekers and refugees living in Aotearoa New Zealand, leads advocacy work on our human rights, and increases allies’ awareness of the issues we face and builds support for changes to laws, policies and practices. Rainbow Path started in January 2019 and has grown to 9 founding members and a wider group of members and allies.

Q-Youth is a by-youth, for-youth charitable organisation dedicated to providing support, advocacy, information and education for queer and trans youth and their friends, family & whānau, schools, workplaces, and wider communities. They are committed to safety and work with the Nelson community to make the Nelson region a safe place to grow up LGBTQ+.
The I’m Local Project aims to help queer & gender diverse youth all over Aotearoa to feel valued, recognised and supported in their local communities. The I’m Local project focuses on contacting high schools, medical centres, hospitals, libraries, marae and community centres in more rural or isolated area of Aotearoa and supplying them with free resources about gender and sexuality.
Tīwhanawhana is a takatāpui community group based in Wellington that welcomes people of diverse sexualities and gender identity. Tiwhanawhana exists for the takatapui community and gives meaning to its kaupapa through different threads; Kapa Haka, Advice, Advocacy, Support of LGBTI Community.
